| Karl Taylor first picked up
an SLR camera when he was seventeen years old,
instantly he was hooked and digressed from
art into photography. After working in a variety
of jobs in the photographic industry his career
moved into photojournalism and
reportage photography. |
| |
| By the age of 25, Karl had worked
for GEO Magazine, Action Asia Magazine and
a variety of Newspapers, as well as producing
images for scientists at Yale and the University
of Western Australia. His area of expertise
was South East Asia where he spent over 3 years
photographing indigenous peoples and environmental
issues, with Indonesia being his specialised
region. Much of his published work related
to the plights and troubles facing the indigenous
peoples of the region and the decimation of
their rain-forest homes. |
